For this episode of The All-Around Adventure Podcast, I'm joined by adventure photographer and videographer, Lucas Smissen.

Lucas is the founder of The Journey, a brand that was established back in 2016 that seeks to create a vast array of travel, outdoor, adventure, and lifestyle content. They do this through professional commercial photography and videography to create and promote content for social media, marketing campaigns, brand ambassadorships, and much more. With a passion to create, inspire others, and make a lasting impact in the world. Lucas strives to create high-quality content for his clients, as well as for new and seasoned travelers alike.

In this episode, Lucas tells us about some of his own travel experiences and how he founded The Journey. He and I also discuss the value of having a creative outlet in order to add value to the world. For Lucas, his outlet is creating valuable visuals through photography and videography. In my case, it's creating valuable audio content through this podcast. For others, it may be adding value through written word in blogs, books, etc. Furthermore, we also talk about how to address negativity that will inevitably come your way whenever you pursue a creative path. We also get into why you should seek to live boldly each and every day. For as Lucas likes to say... tomorrow is too late!
