We are joined by the incredible Beauty Queen herself, Victoria Curtis. Victoria is the founder of Curtis Collection Cosmetics, a luxury cosmetic brand that uses only the finest pharmaceutical-grade ingredients that improve the condition of the skin. Victoria and her Curtis Collection team are absolute industry experts and have grown exponentially to now be available in 300 stockers across Australia and 150 stockers in New Zealand.
Victoria shares the passion that was burning inside her when she started her career in beauty. She had a vision from the beginning for what she wanted her business to be and she has surpassed it and grown far beyond her expectations.
She grew her brand by performing like one of the big brands from day one. She began with humble beginnings but never acted like it and built her own platform to sell her amazing products in stores.
When Victoria became a mother, she recognised that she was starting to feel burn-out at the level she was working in her business and being a mum. She reignited her passion by taking her motivation from different areas in her life, like her children and family, and feeding it back into the business. This has been her secret for the bounce in her step and the enthusiasm she brings to each day, 10 years on from when she started.
Victoria shares exactly how she performed as one of the big brands, addressing imposter syndrome in business, learning how to engage with your audience through public speaking, beginning at L’Oreal, pitching to salons, her wins and losses throughout her career, the importance of believing in yourself and so much more.
