I had an inspiring conversation with my lovely friend, Phil McManus, for this episode of the Chit Chat Podcast.

Phil is the North East Regional Coordinator in the Captain Paul Watson Foundation UK (formally Sea Shepherd UK). The foundation works to support marine wildlife conservation and engage in various tasks to save our oceans from being exploited and protect the animals who need the sea as their home.

We discussed the kind of work he does with the foundation and explored his perspective on animal activism, veganism and environmentalism.

He also shared some ideas on how people can make small changes that would positively impact the environment and animal welfare.

If you are interested in volunteering with the Captain Paul Watson Foundation you can find out more on their website - https://www.paulwatsonfoundation.org/

Alternatively, you can reach out to Phil directly by emailing him at northeast@cpwf.org.uk or find him on social media:
