While I’m Eugene with On Running I had the chance to sit down with the legendary distance runner, now coach of OAC, Dathan Ritzenhein! Dathan competed at several Olympic competitions over his career and is now working with some of the best athletes in the country to help them achieve the same on the On Athletic Club (OAC). In this episode, we talked about: * How he uses his experience, both good and bad, as apart of his coaching style * Working with On to build the team and their shoe line up my favorite * Joe Klecker’s performance at Worlds and his progress in the sport * My favorite part…how to work passed failure! He mentioned Ollie Hoare as the example and some of the words of encouragement and inspiration he shared with him after a very upsetting day at the track in Eugene! Thank you On for sponsoring this episode!! Born in the Swiss Alps, On running shoes feature the first patented cushioning system which is activated only when you need it - during the landing. https://www.on-running.com › en-usOn Running Check them out. My favorite On shoe in the lineup right now is the Cloudmonster. It’s actually in my top 3 trainers list right now! If you’ve tried On before and wasn’t a fan…this shoe is for you! If you love On’s shoes…this is DEFINITELY for you!
