About the Guest:
Jacqueline Garrick, LCSW-C, BCETS, SHRM-CP, WPA
Ms. Garrick founded Whistleblowers of America and developed the Whistleblower Retaliation Checklist© to identify negative psychosocial impacts on victimized employees and provide forensic testimony. She is on the Boards of Equideum and Parrhesia (devoted to whistleblower research) and Brighton Marine (a homeless program in Boston). She has taught at University of Southern California, School of Social Work and has supervised interns from the University of West Florida

Previously, she served as a US Army Officer and in executive positions at the American Legion and the Departments of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Defense (DoD) and with the House Committee on Veterans Affairs. Her areas of expertise include policy and program development for disabled veterans/wounded warriors, mental health and suicide prevention, transition assistance, and military survivors.

Ms. Garrick is a published authored, media source, and an international public speaker having also worked on projects in the former Soviet Union, for the US military in Germany and Afghanistan, and the World Health Organization in Switzerland. She is a social work master’s graduate from Temple University with additional training at Johns Hopkins and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She is a licensed social worker in MD and is credentialed through the Society for Human Resource Management, a Board-Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress and Whistleblower Protection Advocate.
