Our first caller Beckie asks as a mother who homeschools and is a devoted wife, how she can find time to take care of herself. Nancy asks what is getting in the way of her self-care and advises her to task her children with doing more and to reach out to other people who are also going through similar stresses in her community. Tune in to discover how you can take moments to relax and get replenished.
Our inspirational guest Julie Overlease watched her parents separate at just 7 years old. This led her to understand that in the future she would want a stable and close family. Julie would go on to marry Robby. However, they would later discover he had a life-threatening clot in his lower extremity. He would recover, but as of today the clot has returned. Julie has experienced even more scares with her daughter. On one normal day, her daughter had a life-threatening brain injury after a section of a tree fell and hit her. Julie rushed to her daughter's side and began praying. Tune in to learn how Julie was able to keep hoping on even through some of the most trying times in her life.
