Several factors suggest that despite his illiberal rhetoric, the new Slovak Prime Minister, Robert Fico, may not significantly alter the country's policies. Slovakia is deeply integrated into both the EU and NATO, and PM Fico, being an experienced politician, recognizes the importance of Ukrainian independence.
