Today’s guest is Darcy Staniforth. Darcy is an academic, writer, performer and paranormal investigator. She has been interested in the paranormal since she was very young and that interest has carried into both her personal and professional life.
Darcy holds B.A. M.A. in American Studies and in addition to the paranormal, her research areas include race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, ideals and institutions and death, dying and grief in American culture.
As an artist and performer, Darcy is a podcaster, comedian, writer and amateur magician. She currently resides in a haunted house in Southern California.
In this episode we cover everything from Land Acknowledgements to the Haunted Kellogg house and the Heritage Museum of Orange County, Victorian Mourning rules and practices and Darcy’s favorite haunted spots.
