For the first episode of 2024, Aaron and Derek are joined by author and podcaster Nina G. Jones ("Twisted Mirror" podcast) to discuss 2017's psychological horror film "The Killing of a Sacred Deer" directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. They get into the strange character behaviors, ideas of revenge and impossible choices, and whether or not this movie can be considered a dark comedy. They also talk about allusions to Greek tragedy and myths, familial dynamics and favoritism, Barry Keoghan's otherworldly character and many other aspects of the flick. Derek has hair under his arms.
