Music, ahh, the soothing sounds of your favorite music lifting your spirits throughout the day...hey, not so fast idiot...turn that shit down!!! Does this remind you of your parents, maybe without the idiot part. You can't listen to that at work, that music is offensive...you cretin! So, where do you stand on this, music at work, yes...or a fat no. Should your department, or company you work for have a policy guiding what music you can and can't listen to, or when you can listen to it? What if the music you are listening to gets captured on camera during a contact, or for that matter during a business meeting...what now?
Next part of this episode we discuss the problematic atmosphere of the "Quiet leadership quandary" where supervisors remain quiet and in the background when you are under the microscope, being faced with scrutiny, internally, or publicly...things get a little dicey in this episode. Why do so many leaders become responsively quiet when an employee is faced with possible scrutiny...maybe self preservation, or unwillingness to stick there necks out.
We respect all levels of people involved in an agency, or company, from the janitor to the CEO, no one is greater than the other...however, a level of respect is obtained for every aspect and position held. Is a supervisor a leader, or a title, a position, not all leaders are supervisors, and not all supervisors are leaders...
The human experience...we are all human.
