Forgiving isn't letting someone off the hook; it's setting yourself free.

Joining Sarah Grynberg is clinical psychologist and researcher Dr Frederic Luskin, a Stanford University teacher of 30 years. Dr Luskin is director of the university’s Forgiveness Projects, has taught tens of thousands of people to live happier and more fulfilled lives through forgiveness, gratitude and meditation, and is the author of the book: Forgive for Good: A Proven Prescription for Health and Happiness.

In this conversation, Frederic and Sarah discuss how harbouring anger and pain can turn into illness, how forgiveness allows us to be happier and form better relationships with others, the steps we need to take to truly forgive another, and how to let go of anger even if we have to see the person who caused us pain.

If moving on from grievances of the past leaves you feeling resistant or distressed, hearing Dr Luskin’s wisdom will be just the relief you need, and remind you to listen to your soul.

Dr Frederic Luskin's books can all be found here.
