Growing up we’re taught to hold on when we’re scared, & if something is meant to be we should let go & set it free. Fear can be such a hindrance to our growth that one would rather avoid taking the next step because they haven’t let go of what hurt them in the first place. In order to let go of the past, one has to begin with accepting what is in the past and understanding it can’t be changed. Rather than dwelling on ruminating hypotheticals, let’s discuss how we can forgive ourselves & find ways to peacefully detach to what one was.
