Erica Holt describes how she trained as a homeopath for need of an alternative to a broken and discriminatory health system, which had failed her and her family members.
In this episode she talks about how racism shows up in medical settings and the impact it has had on her personally, on her family, and on members of her community.
We discuss ways in which racism shows up even in unexpected places among well meaning people and what we can all do to become more aware.

About Erica:
Erica works to bring homeopathy to the attention, especially, of the African Americans community she is part of, and to raise awareness of the need to include people of all skin colour in our homeopathic and medical literature.
She also has a background in nutrition and is particularly focussed on working with healing trauma.
