Last month, Rovi announced a joint initiative with speech-recognition specialist, Nuance Communications, that will see the companies collaborating on an end-to-end solution for conversational entertainment discovery. The solution will integrate Nuance's Dragon TV voice-recognition, text-to-speech and voice biometrics technologies with Rovi's cloud-based Conversational Services.
