Through its network, Aid to the Church in need has an unparalleled picture of the global persecution of Christians, especially in the Middle East. It was Mr Kyrke-Smith and his associates who persuaded Prince Charles to speak out in November 2014 on the persecution of Christians in Syria and Iraq, a statement which received global media attention. ACN is a charity founded in the ashes of the end of World War II, it has done much to bring the plight of suffering minorities to the attention of the world’s media. In this podcast Mr Kyrke-Smith speaks on the work of ACN and the current situation in Libya, Iraq and Syria. He is an exceptionally well-informed observer of the current situation. This talk was recorded in Sydney, Australia on 25 Feb, 2015.
