About Whitfield Reaves: For 35 years Whitfield has run a successful practice focusing on integrating traditional acupuncture with Western orthopedics. He has worked with some of the most elite athletes in the world using this combination of anatomical assessment and Eastern treatment protocols. He brings his distinctive style to his students in seminars held around the world and through the Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship program in Oakland and in Maui. In addition to his extensive teaching schedule, Whitfield provides his unique treatment protocols in his book, The Acupuncture Handbook for Sports Injury and Pain.
