How does a Sister prepare during Advent? Every individual Religious Sister celebrates Advent and Christmastime differently so in this podcast xt3 interview Sister Mary Helen OP from the Dominican Sisters of St Cecilia discovering how she prepares for Christmas. One thing Sr Mary Helen does is keep a little crib setup in her room as a constant reminder to prepare for the birth of Jesus. Music is also a massive part of the life of a Dominican Sister of St Cecilia (remember Saint Cecilia is the Patron Saint of musicians), so preparing for Advent by singing hymns and carols is another way the sisters prepare a warm place in their heart for the arrival of Jesus at Christmastime.
