NQL 036 - Jeremy Wenger
Manage episode 183515536 series 1406907
Welcome to Episode 36 of the No Quit Living Podcast.
NQL is a personal development podcast designed to help listeners achieve their goals and desires. Through hearing the inspiring stories and tips from the greats, we will all find it easier to stay motivated and never quit.
We've had a plethora of guests on our show in the past who have overcome some insane hurdles in life, and Jeremy Wenger is no stranger to this. Starting with the fact that he was abused by his father from a young age, some years later Jeremy decided to forgive his father. When he was on his way to tell his father, he received a voicemail from his grandmother indicating that his father had been murdered. Years after that, Jeremy found himself face to face with his father's murderer and forgave him too. Where did Jeremy find the courage within himself to forgive these two people who wronged him, you may ask? Wenger talks about it in this episode. He speaks on the spiritual aspect of forgiveness and points out that people treat you the same way they treat themselves. If someone is truly happy with themselves, they'll try to help others attain the same happiness. The opposite is also true, and you can't pour out of an empty cup.
