Episode 18 of the podcast is now live and this one is short and sweet. In this podcast, I bring it back to the topic I love the most…yarn. This is a 20-minute relaxed chat so grab your coffee, bring out your knitting and find some quiet time for you.

Olann

The first yarn I chat about on today’s show is from Olann and dyed by the wonderful Jess. She has a gorgeous colour range and her choice in bases is wonderful. I love to use yarn that has the same amount of thought and care put into each skein as I put into my pattern choice along with the time it takes to make a finished object. Jess has an amazing attention to detail from sourcing her yarn to the dyes she works with and she creates an extensive colour range to choose from. You can see why she is one of my favourites and if you want to follow her you can find her website on the above link or on Instagram and Facebook.

The Fibre Kitchen

If you have been reading the blog you would have caught up with Rachel in her interview here. On today’s show, I tell you exactly why I fell in love with Rachel’s yarn along with my customer experience. Rachel is the dyer behind The Fibre Kitchen and creates delicious yarn inspired from food, colour, art and animation. Rachel has an eye for colour combination along with a love of yarn herself. If she doesn’t see herself knitting with a particular base than she doesn’t dye it. If you want to nab some of Rachel’s yarn you can using the above link and you can find her on Instagram and Facebook.

If you are here looking for the link to the Knit Chat audio it’s here but you do need to subscribe and that link is here. If you would like to catch up with previous interviews on the podcast you can do that here. The music for the podcast has been provided by Liz Seaver and you can find more from here on lizseaver.com. Looking forward to chatting with you all again soon, thank you for listening!
