Send your comment to the government by email: ocs_regulatorypolicy-bsc_politiquereglementaire@hc-sc.gc.ca Here’s my comment which you are free to reuse: I am a pharmacist and I have no doubt that changing all codeine products to prescription only is a step in the right direction. Furthermore, I do not want the burden of prescribing low dose codeine products like pharmacists do in Manitoba. Although pharmacists universally want to have more opportunities to have an impact on their patients, prescribing low dose combination codeine products carries too many risks to our patients with no evidence of effectiveness. I endorse any policy that will limit its access and use. A summary of most of my thoughts can be found on a podcast about the topic: www.youtube.com/channel/UC3QNu9_Gk9Ng9cnxmjtTRKQ Facebook: www.facebook.com/pharmaCR/ Itunes: itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/pharm…ast/id1288284057 YouTube: www.youtube.com/channel/UC3QNu9_Gk9Ng9cnxmjtTRKQ Twitter: @Pharma_CR Mailing List: eepurl.com/cWZLrP Email: pharmaCRpodcast@gmail.com
