After Erik came up with Gremlins 2 as his underrated pick, we decided to watch as much as director Joe Dante's filmography as possible and thought that he was underrated enough to warrant a bonus episode discussion. An integral part of the 80s Blockbuster movement along with Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, and Robert Zemeckis, we believe that he doesn't get as much credit as some of the other big names from the era. Therefore, we wanted to give this Looney Tunes and 50s B-movies-inspired madman a special shoutout.
