Our FEATURE today focuses on two key events that will certainly impact Silicon Valley in the near future. One, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will begin holding a series of public hearings beginning this fall titled "Hearings on Competition & Consumer Protection in the 21st Century". Secondly, the US Supreme Court (SCOTUS) has ruled that an Administrative Law Judge's (ALJ) ruling is unconstitutional which should apply to all ALJ decisions including the Patent Trial & Appeal Board. This could favorably impact about several thousands of inventors, companies and investors whose patents were CANCELLED by the PTAB after they had been approved by the US Patent & Trade Office.
