Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it. Helen Keller How does one make the decision to transition from one faith to another? How does that decision impact the way you live your life? How does it impact your relationships with family and friends, especially those who may not agree with your chosen path? In today’s episode I have the pleasure of interviewing my son Alex, who talks about his seven year journey into Buddhism. His decision to seek something different to end the suffering he felt and how his Buddhist training has given him the impetus to work with other faith leaders to make a difference in the world. Sensei Alex Kakuyo is an author, activist, and Buddhist teacher in the Bright Dawn Center of Oneness Buddhism. He teaches a nonsectarian approach to the Dharma, which encourages students to seek enlightenment in everyday life.
