Over a year in the making, Mark Wigmore finally sits down with Crow's Theatre Artistic and General Director, Chris Abraham in the Crow's Theatre green room at the Carlaw and Dundas East Toronto location. Chris talks to Mark about the urgently contemporary version of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar that he is currently directing at Crow's Theatre, and shares his feelings on the power of theatre to open minds and push the political needle. Plus, they cover Chris's many years working within the Toronto theatre scene, his early days as a theatre kid in Markham before his deep commitment to becoming a director and performer, eventually winning The Siminovitch Prize.
