Football, fighting and full-on nonsense. Hosted by Stephen Howson & Ben Adams, this podcast usually focuses on Manchester United, but will also cover UFC/MMA, politics, technology, history, travel and pretty much whatever we decide to get into, but almost certainly, will feature PIZZA! Subscribe for more, or tune in (most) Thursday nights at 9pm to get your questions in and watch live!

Stretford Paddock? Like the Manchester United fan channel? Yup. Same thing. Well… Same people. We’re football fans, we’re a big group of mates and we’ve enjoyed playing football together. We love talking about it, watching it, playing it. So we made a football team. 100s of people wanted to play for that team. We applied to join a league and were successful in our application. Where it goes from here, who knows. But we’ll all enjoy the ride together!

The Warm Down is the home of sensible, grown up football talk. Hosted by Stephen Howson and a new guest each week discussing the latest happenings in the Premier League, football culture, historical football events or whatever is a hot topic of the time. Joe Broughton is a non-stop phenomenon. Years and years ago, I navigated the dusty corridors in the old Birmingham Conservatoire building, to write a blog post about the Conservatoire folk ensemble. It was a thrill, ducking and weaving through that old building, getting closer and closer to the explosive NOISE that Joe was whipping up. 50 or 60 stu…

I first met Tom Hyland, when he was strutting his guitar stuff with an early version of the now long gone but much-loved Alternative Dubstep Orchestra. I've followed Tom since, first on my blog about the risky steps of going fully pro with Electric Swing Circus, as he dove head-first into Electro Swing. From the band came his Birmingham-based festi…

I put most of this Lives in Music podcast episode together on the fifth anniversary of the death of a mutual friend, the great Paul Murphy, who both introduced me to Renny Jackson, and encouraged us in our different projects.
