Welcome to the 50th Episode of the #100MasterCoaches Show. In this episode, Mel interviews Ram S. Ramanathan MCC. Ram is an accredited master coach and trainer with the International Coach Federation (ICF), European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC), and the Center for Credentialing Education (CCE). He is also a certified coach supervisor and mentor. Coacharya, which Ram co-founded with son Pranav in 2013, won the inaugural global coach award from EMCC in 2014, and again in 2019 with Magda Walczak as CEO. Coacharya is now one of the largest coaching and coach training institutions outside North America, having graduated over 2000 coaches, of whom 50 are MCC credentialed master coaches. Ram as a CEO helped build a multibillion $$ conglomerate in South East Asia in the Nineties. Ram was a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and government consultant in later years before he moved into executive leadership coaching. Ram’s passion for Hindu Buddhist spirituality and experience in the monastic path has led to Coacharya’s focus on integrating Eastern wisdom with Western science to help people in their transformational leadership journey that he terms ‘Mindless Barefoot Leadership’. Ram has written over 30 books on spirituality and leadership. Ram’s coaching focus is on leadership and systemic transformation. He believes that the first question that an organization needs to ask itself is “How the organization, as well as the individual (and the team the individual is a part of), would benefit from coaching, and how these benefits would be evidenced?” Without an answer to this question, no coaching can be effective. Ram and his wife of over 40 years are Singapore citizens with permanent residence in Bangalore, India with their dog, with annual sojourns in the USA where their children, grandchildren, and dogs live. Become a Master Certified Coach like Ram. Begin your journey here at Catalyst Coach. www.catalystcoach.live
