The mission of the Nature Unplugged podcast is to cultivate consciousness in the digital age. That means creating healthier relationships with technology and getting folks more connected to nature. Technology, media use, and screen time are becoming more prevalent and certainly play an important role in our lives. Through our work and personal experience, we’ve also noticed that they can be a significant barrier to goal achievement, balanced living, and happiness. There’s also a large and growing body of research and evidence that supports the importance of connecting with nature, and its many benefits, as well as the impact of increased technology use and screen time. We’ll explore topics such as mindfulness, mindset, movement and play, self care, the benefits of nature, and how to have a healthy relationship with technology. We’ll also examine current research and what experts in the field have to say.
