Today, your D.U.I. crew takes on the other huge mini series of the 70’s
Holocaust 1978.
It aired for 4 consecutive nights form April 16 to April 19th 1978. It was created and written by Gerald Green. Very interesting person, and also mini series, to say the very least about it, because you can just press play and hear all about it.
We will be discussing the plot which centers around the fictional family Weiss but is based on real life events, it is heavy but important stuff to get on the tape and discuss. The miniseries like Roots had a profound impact, quite grateful for it. Many rad peeps are here in this including David Warner, Meryl Streep, Ian Holm, and Joseph Bottoms to name a few.
