In this very special episode, we discuss the 2017 Emmy Nominations and the reactions to such overlooked people (Carrie Coon!) and overlooked shows (The Leftovers! The Americans) and those who have had enough damn praise (Big Little Lies, amirite!?).

This jaunt includes a dalliance around Gay Twitter, a literal surprise nominations of Thandie Newton in Westworld, Justin blacking out at Judy Davis' name, the fan favorite Laura Dern, Tracie Ellis Ross and her potential to play Miss Frizzle from The Magic School Bus, Drag Race, Oprah's lack of appreciation per usual.

And once we got the nomination pages out of order we sort of gave up and then talked about shows that we wondered why were left out (Girls, Transparent, Insecure, and most importantly - BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES). We pontificate on the timelessness of Ed Harris and how Sam Elliott was more with his beard than he is without - but we don't believe he has backfat.

And speaking of gays, even though he is not, John Goodman lost a bunch of weight and we suspect someone may use his skinnier frame on gay dating app Growlr to catch a bear.
