So as a little taster to the massive 1940s episodes which go live here on April 1st we are dropping this single film focused episode here today in celebration of a fantastic new record. You see, Albert Lewin directed Pandora and the Flying Dutchman in 1951 and The Moon and Sixpence in 1941 but The Picture of Dorian Gray is easily his best known work, sadly, he is not known for a lot else. So When I asked musician Charles Moothart from Fuzz to pick a movie to cover for this show, imagine my delight when he came back with Dorian Gray as his choice. This is a discussion about his new solo record and the Angela Lansbury starring 40s horror movie The Picture of Dorian Gray. Seriously. What a belter!
