Speaker/ Author Aric H. Morrison chats with Amy Gonzalez Nelsen from TheBraveryBrigade.com. As the guests on this podcast strive to do, she too is making a difference in the lives of others through giving back via her platform each day. Bravery Brigade is a movement of collective and collaborative work that aims to acknowledge and highlight the brave, the strong, the changemakers, and the seed planters who are creating new beginnings.
She is a survivor of emotional trauma at a young age, endured transition, faced racial discrimination as a youth, and struggled with emotional health and high anxiety for much of her early journey in life. In this sensitive episode, Amy takes the listeners down a very hard road. Here she talks about various forms of adversity experienced throughout several phases of her life.
Listen also, as Amy speaks candidly about being discriminated against as a minority, emotionally damaged, and raised in a very unique environment. Amy found herself walking the streets of Brooklyn at 5 years of age and flying on airplanes alone by age 7. Not because she wanted to, it was just the way it was back then for her. This episode culminates with an absolute nightmare for any parent or sibling to ever have to endure.
This very special woman certainly represents her purpose in life well.
