In this episode, Rebecca shares the unfolding of her artist journey. She talks about how she unwillingly had to walk away from her passion, piano, after experiencing unbearable chronic pain. She also shares how she ended up opening her own design company after a few years of working for someone else and what that looked like. Rebecca talks about how when she contracted COVID, she quite literally had to sit still for months. Rebecca shares how during this time is when she re-evaluated everything and what transpired to lead her to where she is today.

Rebecca White is an artist, musician, and entrepreneur based in Miami, Florida. Her work often speaks to events that have societal relevance, centering the impact these occurrences have on our collective human spirit. Her experience of art-making is something like being a conduit, transmitting received images and concepts into physical forms so that the messages may be interpreted by others. While she works in diverse applications, including drawing, painting, mixed-media, and printmaking, a fluid sense of energy and a distinctive earthy quality is present in all her pieces.
