Today's guest is Brenton Lyman, he's a former chef and current Food & Beverage Manager in the resort industry, and he joins us today on the milestone of his one year sober anniversary. Brenton's rock bottom came after years of addiction, nearly ending his marriage and jeopardizing the life he had always envisioned for himself. In what can only be described as a masterclass in vulnerability, Brenton takes us through the peaks and valleys of his process and how he's navigated a deliberate effort to rebuild himself from the ground up. His reverence and insightfulness speak volumes as we dive into the importance of being a lighthouse for our family, the value of emotional stability, and how sometimes we forget to take our own advice. Make sure you stay till the end when Brenton shares the one piece of advice he'd offer his younger self.
