Do you ever feel as if you work and work and work but you never get anything done? Or if you do get things done, you don’t feel as productive as you’d like to each day? Melissa Stecher is a scheduling mastermind here to share her tips on organization for entrepreneurs.

Organization as a business owner starts with scheduling. If you don’t schedule your time then you will find yourself working endless hours and never truly feeling like you get things done. But don’t just schedule your work time.

As an entrepreneur, your time is yours. No one is dictating to you when you should work or how, so that means that ALL of your time should be accounted for. If you have a morning routine that helps you get pumped for the day, schedule it. Need to eat lunch? Schedule it!

Melissa’s most important things to schedule time for:

  • Checking your emails
  • Accountability time
  • Marketing tasks
  • Content creation and editing
  • Team meetings
  • Financial meetings

Also, make sure that your “must do’s” for each day are scheduled during your most energetic times. This is when you are most focused and productive meaning you’re more likely to get everything done!
