In this episode we interview celebrity chef and chef to the celebrities Brandon Crosby while he was busy preparing food at KOFA high school. Brandon Crosby owns and operates Alabama's number one catering service Chupper Time Catering. Due to time constraints we only had the chef for 20 minutes, so we also interviewed a number of wonderful people involved with our local CTE (Career Technology Education) department.
Here is more about Brandon:
The Nashville native has an extensive and interesting resume chock full of impressive culinary experiences. After graduating with a degree in culinary arts from Faulkner State in Gulf Shores, Alabama in 2003, Chef Crosby trained under Chef Gerhard Brill, former sous chef for Emeril Lagasse at Commander’s Palace in New Orleans and Executive Chef at the Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama.
Working and living in the Music City afforded boundless opportunities to network with people in the music industry. Given his culinary talents and contagiously upbeat personality, it is no wonder that Brandon eventually found himself working as a touring chef for musicians and bands such as, Wu Tang Clan, Kanye West, Jason Aldean, Zac Brown Band, Florida Georgia Line, John Mayer and WWE. Additionally, Brandon worked as an artist caterer for large music festivals, most notably Bonnaroo.
