Let’s keep learning from David, by reading about one of his…um…maybe not his most brilliant moment…we could even call it ‘ugly.’
This week we jump into Psalm 34 which lead us to 1 Samuel 21 in which we find David in quite the predicament. He's running for his life from King Saul and finds himself in enemy territory seeking a job but realizes that is a mistake. So, he feigns insanity in order to escape.
Our lesson from the life of David is reflecting on our own 'ugly' moments in search of the fingerprints of God. For when we follow David in humble exploration of such moments, we may just find ourselves with a heart full of praise.
Let's find the path that leads us closer to God in our unsightly flops together.
