In today’s podcast, Mike Granato and Shaun Webb of Athletic Motion Golf discuss how to deal with the frustrations around working on your golf swing.
Anchoring your expectations is the first step into determining your reality.
You want to get better, that's clear.
But frustration and being stuck on the hamster wheel is keeping you from getting better. The studying, the work on the range, and the lessons and schools you go to are there to get you BETTER, but don't confuse BETTER for perfect, and don't assume perfect is coming. You'll never be perfect, and that's ok.
Embrace the fact that golf is a PROGRESSION, and a continued path to improving. It's you against yourself, and we're here to help you.
Don't be so hard on yourself, and understand golf for what it is, a progression that you measure in months, and not moments or days.
You'll have bad days, and that's OKAY, but know a single bad day, or even a string of bad days won't determine the success of your game, but how you handle frustration when you are in a rut definitely will.
Please remember to RATE and Comment on your podcast platform of choice so we know how we're doing! Thanks and see you next week!
