Dialing it in all the way from Germany, I get to chat with an old friend of mine Patrick Duvall, that is the mastermind behind his project "Of The Sun". Originally formed in South Carolina in 2010 time frame, after not much success with the project there, he picked up and moved to Austin, TX and as he said "shit hit the fan many times" with the project which leads us to this conversation we had in Jan 2023 and what's going on with him and "Of The Sun" today.
In 2018, Patrick met his wife who is from Germany after she came to Austin on vacation. Since "Of The Sun" wasn't really on the right path, he left it all behind and moved with her to Germany to build their future home (he's quite the handyman) and also to rebuild his project. Now with new music ready to go and a single already released, Patrick has more in store for your listening pleasure.
