This was a rare occasion for myself as I was invited to Evil Snail Studios (thanks to Kfir Gov) in Austin, Tx to chat with a Rick Fernandes (founder/lead vox/guitar) and Edward Chavez (bass) from Tibetan Sky Burial. Formed in Austin during 2019, Texan natives Rick Fernandes and Bryan Stevens wrote a concept album about loss and the five stages of grief. Tibetan Sky Burial's debut "Lamenta" released in 2020.

Both Rick and Ed hail from the great city of El Paso, Tx but found their music careers moving to Austin, Tx. We cover a range of topics from how they coped with COVID, recording at Evil Snail Studios, what is Tibetan Sky Burial and its history, and so much more. I had a really great time chatting with the guys and absolutely loved the quality of the sound in the space we were provided. Check out the links below for more.

Pedals are a pyramid scheme according to Rick, Ed is a candlemaker and I claim to be "Government Grown" up. Also, my rescue cat Luna is still missing #sadface
