Who are the Jehovah's Witnesses? Many of us have seen or been visited by folks calling themselves Jehovah's Witnesses. Most of us have slammed the door in the faces of these hard working young men and women as they try to share their gospel with us. I, however, use to delight in conversation with such folks as these, not to be argumentative but to try and understand their doctrine. Of course, when you speak to the Jehovah's Witnesses, you always get the same watered down doctrine that they publicize such as, "Jesus Christ didn't agree with the view that there are many religions, many roads, all leading to salvation. Rather, he said: 'Narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.' (Matthew 7:14) Jehovah's Witnesses believe that they've found that road. Otherwise, they'd look for another religion." literally believe theirs is the only religion, and as we venture through the history to see how they became what they are today, you can decide for yourself is being a Jehovah's Witness is the only path to salvation. God has always used ordinary human beings to do extraordinary things, such as Elijah raining fire from heaven; Samson - well Samson was awesome, from beating an army with a donkey's jaw bone to killing a lion with his bare hands; or using a little shepherd boy named King David to bring the Messiah into the world, just to name a few that you would most likely remember. But what about the hundreds that you may have never heard of? People like Smith Wigglesworth, John Bunyan, and A. A. Allen. These men existed also and did some modern-day miracles, from healings to bringing the dead back to life. God used them as he did the biblical prophets. They may not have been as well known or had many books written about them, but they still lived. Their exploits may not have been recorded, but it doesn’t change the fact that God used them to do modern-day miracles during the time of their ministries. What you are about to listen to is a work of fiction; it is a novel. I have wanted to do this particular story my whole life. Throughout this book you will see how Satan is always behind the scenes, trying to tear down men and women of God, and how God uses people to achieve impossible goals, sometimes with the help of supernatural beings we call angels. The setting is that of a time during the late 1800s, when life in America was still fairly new and things were much simpler, yet life in general was harder. However, the supernatural world never changes; it doesn’t rely on fashions of the day or even political views. It remains unbiased. My series the future consist of ten books total. I have many created worlds in my world. and On is called the future. It begins with this book, taking place in the nineteen fifties. and it travels through the present along the way you will see super human feats, aliens, and the destruction of earth. But not in this book, this one begins simply a sort of Noir book, starring Detective Jack Manson who is a a detective inside the Detroit police department. Now what makes detective Manson so unique is the fact that time moves forward but he stays the same, why is that? because he has a much larger purpose than even he realizes. All of the future series is available on audible.
