Faviola Dadis (Founder & Chief Innovation Officer at NeuroReality )

Founder of NeuroReality, a medtech company focused on developing Virtual Reality-based cognitive telerehabilitation software for individuals with acquired brain injuries. I am an innovative and passionate entrepreneur with a strong research and marketing background.
Coming from a diverse cultural background and having lived in 9 countries, my philosophy regarding business and innovation has always been to look at ways to solve problems on a global scale. I believe that technology has the ability to bridge the gap between research and practice in healthcare and am inspired by others who share this vision! To that extent, I regularly participate in knowledge transfer by sharing scientific information and innovation in a way that is accessible to everyone regardless of their background at conferences, events, panels, and via social media.
I am an experienced PhD Candidate with a demonstrated history of working in the research industry. I completed my Research Master's Thesis at the University of Oxford, focused on cognition in stroke survivors, acquired brain injury, and other neurodegenerative diseases. At Oxford I worked on the translation, design, and application of standardized neuropsychological tests into digital solutions. Currently, I am completing my Doctoral Thesis at the VU University Amsterdam and Utrecht University, in collaboration with the UMC and various rehabilitation centers, where along with a consortium of researchers we are conducting extensive clinical research that provides efficacy for the software we develop at NeuroReality.
