It's been a while since we've caught up! So what better way to catch up than to use a book of thoughts to flavor our conversation? Sophia shared with Da Eun some of her favorite pieces from Jonny Sun's Goodbye, Again, and boy, were these pieces JUICY. You'll hear us chat about moments of fear when it comes to celebrating, the anxiety that comes with undefined/unproductive time, the choice of motivating ourselves with fear versus joy, expectations of friendships and what influenced those expectations, and the seemingly ephemeral nature of happiness. We get pretty personal, talking about many facets of our lives where we've felt these themes show up: in our careers, friendships, personal growth, etc.
We hope you enjoy catching up with us! Let us know some other books and pieces of media that we should discuss~
Excerpts from Goodbye, Again mentioned:

  • This is Really Happening
  • What about your guilt is helping you
  • On nostalgia
  • On friendship
  • On peace
