Growth doesn't always have to be a grind. Progress isn't always painful. There are ways to fuel your fire for personal greatness, and enjoy every bit of it.

In today's episode I share what gets me so fired up about learning and growing, and how all of us can implement it into our lives in a consistent, sustainable way.

We were created to grow and improve. You were born to rise.

And as long as you don't put out the flame, your inner fire can fuel your desire and drive to become a Great Force For Good in the world and absolutely LOVE gaining the knowledge and skills that make you an asset to humanity.

Have you ever asked yourself if it would be okay to settle for a little less in order to avoid some of the hard work?

I know I have.

I’ve often wondered if it was all worth it.

But then I realized I was going about it all wrong.

Who says progress has to be painful?

Does growth always have to be a grind?

I’ve been told that before.

You probably have too.

And I used to believe it.

I remember thinking that winning would take so much work… and I wondered if it would be worth it.

Is it worth all the effort to get into and stay in excellent health?

Is it worth all the work to become wealthy?

To move to a better area?

To switch to a better career?

To seriously level up your lifestyle?

Wouldn’t it be okay to settle for a little less so that you can avoid some of the hard work?

The problem, at least as I see it, is that most people are making it much harder than it needs to be.

They’re chronically operating in a form of subconscious self sabotage....

and that’s why it seems so difficult to rise.

Think about it.

If your favorite freshly baked cookies are sitting on the kitchen island on a nice platter, but you’re not eating cookies, how hard is it going to be to keep your commitment?

Or if you’ve set a goal to gain a new skill, but you spend most of your free time with people who watch a lot of movies, how hard is it going to be to ‘sacrifice’ your enjoyment in order to put in the time and effort to gain the skill?

See the problem?

It’s part of the Principle of Proximity. (Which I explain in this episode)

And most people are using it against themselves, instead of in their favor.

Progress doesn’t have to be painful.

Growth doesn’t have to be a grind.

Moving upward can be amazing and exciting

But you have to set yourself up for success.

Go listen to it today (and be sure to subscribe if you haven't already) to learn the 3 critical elements to sustainable, ENJOYABLE, long-lasting improvement, and why I’m so excited about the next few months.
