Katharine Henley leads Baringa’s People and Change Practice. She has over 25+ years’ experience in organizational development and transformation, working in the UK and overseas.

She is a strong believer that the essence of organizational success is human connection – and is curious about how leadership mindsets can affect performance in a myriad of ways. Her view is that ‘integrity of self’, collaboration and trust enables a strong sense of purpose and shared achievement in teams. In turn this increases motivation, learning and organisational outcomes. She is fascinated by the future of work and how social revolution has started to challenge command and control styles of leadership, enabling a more diverse workplace.

“Where I see programmes fail is where that people element hasn’t been considered and because leaders aren’t leading the culture. They haven’t seen themselves as being accountable for the culture that exists within an organisation and don’t understand that it’s their behaviours that will impact on mindsets, performance and new ways of working”.
