In this week's episode of the Better with Running Podcast, Chriso takes us through his recent 8 x 1k session, where he challenged himself with an increased pace on some of the repetitions, reveling in the difficulty. Following that, he shares insights into a marathon-specific training session he completed alongside his training partner, Anna. Chriso expresses his enjoyment of these sessions as he prepares for another attempt at the 3000m on the track. Meanwhile, Zacca maintains his momentum by covering 83 kilometers, including an improved Threlfall fartlek session compared to his previous effort. Having completed her first 10k in 2017 and a half marathon in 2018 with a time of 2 hours and 8 minutes, Sharelle had never raced a marathon before. Sharelle is coached by Olympian and Run2PB Coach Madeline Heiner, together, they achieved an impressive major marathon in Chicago this year. overcoming some challenges along the way! Sharelle, who also serves as the marketing manager for Ironman Oceania Group, organizing events like the iconic City 2 Surf, Sydney Half, Auckland Marathon, and Noosa Marathon, shares her journey and experiences in running, and also takes on a Quick Fire Q&A with Chriso with a distinct Shepparton flavour, her home town.
