Dwon Moss Johnson is proud to call herself an original Georgia Peach. She was born and raised in the heart of Atlanta, GA. After graduating from high school, she joined the United States Marine Corps, where she served on active duty for four years. After being honorably discharged, she attended Mercer University to Major in Human Services. Moss is a domestic violence and military sexual trauma survivor, who also suffers from Bipolar disorder and suicidal ideation. Moss became a proud member of the Brown Girls Books publishing family when her short, “I Will Love You So, For Always,” was selected to be included in the anthology, The Ex-Chronicles. Moss is also co-author of the anthology, Single Mama Dating Drama.
