बिहार में पकड़ौआ विवाह के मामले कम होने का नाम नहीं ले रहे हैं। ताजा केस वैशाली जिले के पातेपुर से आया है। यहां बीपीएससी से चयनित एक शिक्षक का अपहरण कर उसका पकड़ौआ विवाह कर दिया गया। लड़की वालों ने बुधवार दोपहर में स्कूल से ही टीचर को उठा लिया और गाड़ी में बैठा कर ले गए। परिजन ने अपहरण की शिकायत करते हुए घंटों रोड जाम करके हंगामा किया। बाद में पुलिस ने शिक्षक को सकुशल बरामद कर लिया।
