Jennifer Turner-Jones sits down with David and Blaire and dives in about how Southern Arizona Book Heroes began. When Jennifer was 13 she was taken away from her family due to abuse. Being places in an emergency shelter she felt lost and alone. So she got lost in a book to help her escape the harsh reality she was enduring. Years later she created a program to help vulnerable children once like herself. Jennifer wants to help children not see first responders as scary but more as Heroes. Now expanding throughout Arizona listen in to exactly why we call Jennifer the ultimate Hero. Let's all help her save children with One Book At A Time.
