Donna Tartt’s 784 page novel “The Goldfinch” is now a two-and-a-half hour movie. Avid readers and frequent moviegoers Amy Scribner and Kim Adelman discuss the adaptation. Recording their conversation on an iPhone in the lobby of the Grove’s Pacific Theaters, the two friends discuss the book minutes before the movie begins and evaluate the film immediately after the credits roll.
