This is the Build Your Own (personal) Brand (BYOB) show where I talk specifics about how to use the 4 step DICE process to Build Your Own Brand. In the last BYOB episode, I posed the question,“What you are good at?” In case you missed it last week, It’s your strengths that drive your personal brand. They run through your brand like a thread in your clothing weaving together all of the various aspects of our personalities. Like our personal brands, we also have a common thread running through our careers. Believe it or not, this metaphorical thread is what links all of our past positions together. For some of us, our career thread is understood and easy to see. We use it as a measuring stick or guidepost when making career decisions. For others, maybe even you listening right now, the thread is still waiting to be discovered. Finding this thread will help you understand your career path.
